Introduction to the Project (2019 - 2022)
Overview:
MagentaTV is a telecommunications project by Deutsche Telekom, offering a multi-modal experience controlled by the Magenta voice assistant and a remote control. As the lead designer, I played a crucial role in creating and refining this innovative product from inception to post-launch.
My Responsibilities:

Prompt Creation: Developed effective prompts to guide users through interactions.

Business Logic: Designed the business logic for the voice interactions.

NLU Utterance Design: Crafted utterances to ensure the voice assistant accurately understood user commands.

Intent Design: Developed intents to handle various user requests.

Interaction Design: Focused on multi-modal interaction design, integrating both voice and remote control functionalities.

Multi-Modal Guidelines: Created comprehensive guidelines within Telekom to ensure consistent behavior across different modalities and devices.

User Research and Testing: Conducted extensive qualitative and quantitative user research and testing before and after the launch. This included user interviews, usability tests, data analytics, and continuous refinement of the design.

Post-Launch Development: Continued to build and refine features based on user feedback and data analysis.

Integration of MagentaTV and Google Assistant: Designed and implemented interactions for a single device using both voice assistants, ensuring seamless user experiences.

Outcome:
